d100 Spirits in Bottles



Requested to do genie bottles. Last post surprisingly popular but requests like this I'm more likely to use. Now everyone will be looking up dead wizard skirts. I guess if pagan clerics have phallus holy symbols then wizards would be extra blasphemous. Wizards at parties can compare them and have contests.

Back to useful and less juve smut proper gaming content...

Jinn come in various tribes predating humans. Some are benevolent, some seek huma worship or to tempt humans with worldly vice others are worshipers of good powers. Other spirits of various power are possible. Some spirits animate corpses or become animals or human forms but most are invisible or vapour or smoke form. Many can fly or travel distances. Some are persecutors some are protectors of holy things or pious peoples.

Other spirits even ghosts are trapped in bottles often as punishment or imprisoned by enemies. Some are grateful for release others assume releaser allied to their captor and torment them instead from revenge. Some can be negotiated with to perform tasks or leave people alone. Magic spells and powers bing such creatures.

The Ghost of Thomas Kempe by Penelope Lively is a great kids horror book. One of my favorite kids writers. Honestly more creepy and less patronizing and middle class than potterverse.
